What People Are Saying
I like this product for the ease of application and the fantastic results. It really makes the tires stand out with the gloss finish.
What can I say about Black Magic Tire Shine? Me personally I Love It. I have been using it since 2000 & so that is 23 Years now & it has been my go to ever since. Now you will hear people talk about “Slinging” well yes that can happen but then again that can happen to any Tire Shine if you don’t apply it properly & or some people think the more you used the shinier it will be. WRONG! That is when you are asking for trouble. All you need is a light coat for the Tire Shine is already thick so it will shine just plenty with a light layer. You hear people talking about the “Ceramic Tire Shine” well me personally I dislike it because yes it will last longer BUT within time it will start to yellow & then on top of that it becomes a pain to remove. I Love Ceramic Coating & literally have my Cars Fully Ceramic Coated BUT I will never Ceramic Coat the Tires. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good Show Shine just keep it LIGHT people to avoid “Slinging”.
Need to put more than one coat for best results!
Works very well and the shine is very good! I think it's better than Amor All.
i like the long shine it gives
Again, nothing better than the "GEL". This leave your car's tire shinning than ever. Lastly, again, nothing better than the "gel". Plus no dislike here.
Great shine and value!
Great product will use again
Best brand! Long lasting shine I highly recommend it
This product works great. Shine last a very long time on the tires.
Does a nice job on tires. Takes a little more time than the foam product but a little goes a long way so cheaper over time.
For whatever reason, Walmart stopped carrying Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel in their stores and started carrying this Black Magic Tire Wet Gel, as the only tire gel available in store. This Black Magic gel leaves a more blotchy appearance after a few days than the Meguires gel, and it also leaves a more tacky/sticky residue than the Meguires (which allows dirt and debris to cling). I will say it does seem to apply much easier. Maybe the longevity of this Black Magic is slightly better, it is hard to say - the Meguires tends to just wear off uniformly whereas this Black Magic tends to wear off in blotches. I think next time I will do a 50/50 with the Meguires and have a longevity test.
Nice thick gel that looks great on the tire, but a little difficult to apply. Applicator fell apart on me after using it a few times on smaller smooth wall tires. Let it sit anywhere from a couple hours to a full day, and even applied it thinly, this stuff just goes everywhere one you start driving. Spent two hours cleaning up the fenders, quarter panels and even my trunk! Definitely not using it again, unless they made something that would actually dry out enough not to go everywhere.
It’s thick and difficult to get an even coating but does look great and last several weeks once applied.
Use on vehicles tires
This stuff is amazing. I applied to my tires three washes ago and my tires are still shining!!!! Must let dry first before driving hard to rub off rims or car if it splatters on them. Other than that my tire shine go to for life.
I've been looking for the perfect tire shine that would make my tired looked extremely wet. I stumbled in this and won't be looking back. High gloss and has staying power.
This is a great product. My tires look wet for weeks.Foam sprays don’t last long and splatter back on the car.A bit sticky to apply, so use a glove with awesome results.
This is a very good product
Great shine overall great product except the application pad, only good for a few uses then trash and have to get a new one. A kit isn't a kit if they run out at different times
I love this product it works really good and lasts longer than traditional tire shine. Gel tire shine is the way to go
So this item you have to use alot to get the tire’s shiny at first then it’s all about maintenance
pretty much does what it says it does dry fast no splatter
Shipped open and leaked everywhere. But the product is great.
it looks fantastic when you 1st apply it but in about a week when the shine starts to fade it fades blotchy af and even after I clean the tires with black magic tire cleaner it's still there usually that stuff takes everything off my tires everything but this gel and after I clean the tires they're sticky in the areas where it's still shiny I think I'll go back to the aerosol version I liked it much better the shine didn't fade blotchy it faded evenly and it went on quicker than this gel
Super shine.Better than any other product I have tried.Wait a bit after you apply this before driving to avoid sling.
It was a good looking tires after used the product
Read the reviews for a variety of tire shines, I went with Black Magic because I've used there products before with great success. This gel is some thing else.Followed the directions. This stuff goes on thick using the supplied applicator. After an hour it was still tacky and the shine looks plastic.
Works better than expected.
Love the tire wet! Best shine I’ve had on my tires. Put it on all three vehicles, looks great
Make the tires on my new GMC Canyon really stand out. Run it thru the car wash and the tires still shine.
this product has been working great and does exactly what is expected, only downside is it was spilled all over the bottle when it arrived.
If you really want shine dab it on and smooth it over with a sponge. Just be careful not to put on too much as you’ll get what’s called “sling“ which is spatter onto the body of your car but it’s excellent and always good.
Way thicker then it used to be when I bought from autozone..but still has same longevity..
Puts on a great shine
Lasted almost two weeks much longer than the spray , I mixed it with water towards the end and sprayed it still lasted longer than the spray version
The product it's great but when the package arrived at my house already spilled because the lid was not tight. It's Ok.
Excellent product. You want shiny tires, you have to have this product!!
I’ve always been a fan of black magic tire shine/coating. This one just takes it to another level. Rather than the liquid spray, it’s a gel and once you apply it you see the big difference right away with the shine. Not only that it lasts for weeks! My wheels got covered in brake dust over a couple weeks but my tires maintained the shine from the black magic gel. It comes with an applicator and I’ll say, the more you use it the longer the shine stays on even when your wheels get dirty. By the 3rd use, I applied a small amount of gel on the applicator and noticed the applicator still had some residual gel from the first 2 uses and I therefore didn’t need to continue adding more to the applicator. I went from tire to tire without extra gel and the shine just revealed on the tires. That’s how well & deep the bell works! The included applicator also allows you to apply it in a clean motion and not have residual on the wheels that you’d normally have to go back and wipe clean from a spray bottle.I’d say I’ll buy again soon, but it’ll be a long while! 3 uses and the bottle still looks like I haven’t used any! Though that may be different if your tires are not low profiles or higher than 30-35% aspect ratio.
Good on black kitchen sinks
Shines
I like cause better then other ones
Make sure the top is on tight alittle bit came out
Applicater given was weak and didn't survive the second tire. Other than that. Product was definitely worth the cost.
Stays on the tire much longer than the spray foam. Holds up to light rain or wet conditions.
I use two coats and this stuff keeps your tires shining for weeks.
I honestly can't believe how long the Black Magic Wet Gel lasted & still 3 weeks later is still shining!!!
Easy to use
First, I’m just going to review this part only not any comparisons because I don’t think that would be fair. Still just gonna review this product alone. Now, when I put it on I fine that you kind of have to hurry up. Here’s the thing I noticed that if I’m putting it on and taking a long time because I want to make sure it’s evenly on there I fine if it starts to dry then you’re going to get a little bit of streaking just like a pain massage dry you go over it it kind of spears sorta. Not quite that bad but it kind of does a little bit. Is it very noticeable not really from a distance if you look up clothes you can kind of see. Now it is tacky. When it dries and you make the mistake of wanting to touch it like I did just to kind of see how it feels you’ll see fingerprints. No big deal I just know the future not to touch it or be tempted to see how it feels. Now as far as the sign it does lastso far for me two days. Now, I live out in the country and I put on my wife’s car. She has really big tires and the only problem is because it dries Taki dust sticks to it and that is noticeable. Now as I said maybe other products have the same issues or do the same thing I don’t know. But as far as this one is concernedfor the money it’s actually good especially if you want to have that several days of shine. Now like I said I’m going on two days and it still has some shine my wife’s car still has some shine but I can notice the dust that is stuck on because it is tacky after the fact.No I’m not an expert so maybe this is common with other products as far as the tackiness etc. but I would still buy it again because I still think it leaves a nice shine to it. The primary car use it for has more tires so this ball is going to last a very long time now I might reapply it since the first timeI think I might’ve let it dry a little bit in between just because I wanted to be really even handled with it. Now that I know how to apply it I think it’ll be a little bit better. The sponge or applicator comes with his garbage and her a Toron me after applying it to two sets of tires. That’s no big deal because any spongeful work. I do notice it was kind of hard to apply it to some other sidewall grooves. I like my tires once at their mud tires so did you have some of that tread and grooves close to the sidewall so it was a little bit hard to get it in there specially with that sponge which like I said tour. I’m thinking next time using a sponge but then when it comes to that tread with those grills I wanted to get maybe a detail brush might actually get in there better
Used it to bring color back to my faded jeep bumpers. It worked..but I had to be careful for several weeks because it would rub off on my pants if I touched it!
